Commercial Winery Education Program

Currently, wine industry workshops are offered at several geographically variable locations each year around Colorado, including at WCRC-OM. These are intended to be forums for information exchange, among university and industry personnel, about research, practices, needs, solutions, and opportunities. It is envisioned that some of these workshops be enriched to multi-day workshops, held at WCRC-OM, on various components of a comprehensive program entitled “Winery Best Practices”.
Potential topics could include: Startup Planning, Sanitation, Winemaking Problem Solving, Crush and Fermentation Management, Cellar Management, Bottling Management, Regulations and Compliance, Tasting Room Practices, Wine Inventory and Sales Management, Winery Reputation Maintenance, Winery Growth Planning, Generational Transfer Planning, etc.
